Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer made his comeback from a month-long injury lay-off as his side lost 0-2 to Ghana in a 2022 FIFA World Cup warm-up game on Thursday.

The 33-year-old Sommer suffered a torn ankle ligament in mid-October and had not played a game since.

Switzerland will take on Brazil, Cameroon and Serbia in Group G at the World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana on their part will play Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in Group H.
