The governor mandated the TC chairman to sink an ultra-modern borehole with big capacity to supply water to the market.
He also directed that the sawdust area be fenced off so that fire generated from sawdust dumps would not easily get into the shops and sheds.
He expressed the readiness of government to support the victims at their time of trial occasioned by the fire.
He commended the state Fire Service and others for containing the fire and preventing it from causing greater damage.
One of the market leaders, Ikechukwu Okafor, expressed delight over the governor’s powerful delegation to the market.
