Iran prepares to release report of downed Ukrainian plane: Official

Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh says that authorities will “officially” release the report about the Ukrainian passenger plane which crashed over the Iranian space earlier this year.
Mr. Khatibzadeh said this at her weekly news conference in Tehran on Monday
Ukrainian International passenger plane was hit by Iranian missiles after taking off in Tehran’s airspace on January 8, killing all 176 people on board.
Iran had said that its forces “accidentally” shot the plane down.
Khatibzadeh said that the Civil Aviation Organisation, as the responsible body in the technical field, acted on its responsibility and the report was to be provided to the Ukrainian side and other parties in the form of online video.
“Today or tomorrow the report will be officially presented (to the Ukrainian side and other parties) in the form of a translation,” Khatibzadeh said.
