Six people killed as bus overturns

At least six people were killed and 25 others injured when a passenger bus overturned onto the roadside in northwestern Turkey early Tuesday.
Authorities said the bus was travelling from the northwestern city of Edirne to Bodrum, a popular resort town in the southwest when it veered off the road in the Lüleburgaz district of Kırklareli.
Ambulances and firefighters rushed to the scene to remove the victims from the bus.
Authorities said one among the dead was a child while an investigation is underway into the cause of the accident.
This is the third deadly accident in three days across Turkey.
Two accidents in western and central Turkey claimed 10 lives on Sunday and Monday.
The number of traffic accidents in Turkey increases seasonally, particularly in the summer months and ahead of national and religious holidays.
Many are on the roads ahead of the Muslim feast of sacrifice, Eid al-Adha, which starts on Saturday, marking a nine-day-long official holiday.
On Sunday, five people were killed and four wounded in a separate accident in the central Anatolian town of Konya.
