The Supreme Court ruled against the appellants on the issue of locus standi.
Mr Ajayi expressed confidence that the tribunal would deliver justice in the case.
Ms Adegoke, in suit No. FHC/AK/CS/99/2024, held that the PDP candidate who challenged the qualification of the APC lacked locus standi to file the suit.
Mr Ajayi scored 7, 813 votes, losing his LG to Aiyedatiwa, who scored 14,511.
Yiaga Africa observed widespread vote buying across several PUs, which is becoming a permanent feature of the nation’s electoral process.
Mr Tunji-Ojo, an Ondo indigene, also praised the security agencies for maintaining peace and order.
Mr Ajayi said, “This is sad and Nigerians are not happy.’’
Mr Aiyedatiwa said the free day would allow government workers in the state to travel to their various localities to perform their civic exercise.
The PDP candidate noted that the Aiyetoro community would be saved from extinction if given the chance to govern the state in the November 16 election.
“We are appealing to you to help ensure that all political parties conduct themselves in line with the laid-down rules and Electoral Act,” said Mr Ajayi.
