Agboola Ajayi has withdrawn his lawsuit at the Supreme Court against Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The statement noted that the PDP in the state remained trong, focused and unshaken.
Mr Peretei described the emergence of the coalition as necessary and timely, saying the PDP structures have been completely dissolved into the ADC.
Mr Ajayi expressed concern at how the APC representatives arrived at the court on judgment day in a celebratory mood.
“We are aware of prevailing concerns about the integrity of the justice system in Nigeria,” said Mr Ajayi.
The Supreme Court ruled against the appellants on the issue of locus standi.
Mr Ajayi expressed confidence that the tribunal would deliver justice in the case.
Ms Adegoke, in suit No. FHC/AK/CS/99/2024, held that the PDP candidate who challenged the qualification of the APC lacked locus standi to file the suit.
Mr Ajayi scored 7, 813 votes, losing his LG to Aiyedatiwa, who scored 14,511.
Yiaga Africa observed widespread vote buying across several PUs, which is becoming a permanent feature of the nation’s electoral process.
