Mr Oborevwori noted that the approvals were part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to enhance road connectivity in urban and rural communities
The commissioner said remaining in the PDP due to the challenges would not advance the development of Delta and its people.
Mr Anagwu said the state government would continue to smoothen its relationship with federal bodies.
Mr Aniagwu said, “My boss, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has made it clear that we will not owe contractors.’’
Mr Aniagwu lauded Mr Oborevwori’s commitment to transparency and his open-door policy.
Mr Aniagwu said the ban was with immediate effect.
Stakeholders in the education sector have called for government and private sector partnership in providing free education in the country’s rural areas.
He also restated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s determination to build rural roads that would help improve the living standards of the people.
He added that 2023 was an eventful year characterised by challenges and successes.
He said Mr Oborevwori was determined to deliver at least 130 kilometres of road projects across the state before his first anniversary in office.
