The secretary of the party in the state, Robert Ngwu, stated this in Enugu on Thursday while briefing the press.
The Ebeano chieftain stated that the interest and welfare of the group would be better served under the APC structure in the country.
The former Enugu governor said Mr Peter Obi “has set the Igbo political trajectory 24 years back.”

Previously unreported U.S. court filings said the Nigerian senator forfeited assets in one of several illicit schemes he pulled as Enugu governor from 1999-2007.
The PDP senator representing Enugu East Senatorial district is an avid supporter of the APC presidential candidate Bola Tinubu.
