Mr Suleiman sentenced the convict with an option of a N50,000 fine.
The police charged the guard with negligent conduct and mischief.
Mr Sulieman also ordered the convict to pay N50,000 to compensate the tank’s owner.
The accused also collected the complainant’s motorcycle for hire purchase to pay N200,000, but he only paid N 18,000 and criminally absconded.
They all pleaded guilty to criminal conspiracy and theft but prayed the court for forgiveness and leniency on the punishment.
The convict criminally went into the complainant’s uncompleted building without his consent and stole the iron panel worth N288,000 and escaped.
The prosecutor told the court that the convicts have been warned to desist from operating in the area, but they refused to comply with the order.
The police gave Mr Ismahi a hot chase, arrested him and recovered the mp3 radio from him. He was later processed for arraignment.
The convict was given an option of N30,000 fine and a warning to be of good behaviour.
The convict went to a mechanic workshop without his knowledge and stole a customer’s vehicle air compressor, engine seating, injector and engine fan.
