The speaker commended the lawmakers for their legislative dexterity and commitment to duty.
The speaker noted that the bill was sufficiently debated and passed as a critical step towards boosting the state’s community security architecture
Mr Oborevwori also said that the state government would focus on continued provision of physical infrastructure.
The lawmakers passed the bill during plenary in Asaba.
”The passage of the bill will help to regulate the activities of film and video works in the state as well as boost the state’s internally generated revenue,” he said.
The Speaker, Dennis Guwor, announced the suspension during the House plenary session in the assembly complex in Asaba.
Delta House of Assembly on Tuesday passed the Structures for Signage and Advertisement Agency Amendment Bill
The assembly had on May 14 suspended the lawmaker over alleged gross misconduct.
On Thursday, the Delta House of Assembly passed the 2024 Appropriation Bill of N724.9 billion.
“We passed through the Ogwashi-Uku Stadium, where we came for PDP governorship primaries in 2006. I passed through that as a delegate…today, I passed through it as governor.”
