The Sector Commander, Lagos, Corps Commander, Kehinde Hamzat, said this in a statement on Tuesday.
Mrs Kesha said that the works ministry would not tolerate any vandalism on public infrastructure.
Mrs Kesha said that one section would be fully repaired and reopened before starting work on the ext section.
“These signs have not been installed to caution motorists ahead of any danger.’’
Ms Kesha advised motorists to use alternative routes.

“We will change all of the expansion joints on Long Bridge,” she said.
She said that delay might compromise the integrity and structural stability of the entire bridge to endanger users.
Jimoh Olawale, the federal controller of works in Delta, says the new second Niger Bridge will be opened to traffic on December 15.
