Mr Guwor (PDP-Warri South West) was elected as the speaker shortly after the inauguration of the assembly by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Tuesday in Asaba.
Presenting the bill, Mr Onwo said that it would help speed up the treatment and care of gunshot victims when signed into law.
Mr Okowa said that the budget was made up of N5.6 billion recurrent expenditure and N65.5 billion capital expenditure.
Mr Onwo said that the creative industry also had the potential to contribute significantly to the economic growth of the state.
Mr Okowa had, in a letter to the assembly, asked for approval to submit relevant documents to the Governors’ Forum on or before Wednesday.
The nominee was presented for the screening exercise by the member representing Oshimili North and Chief Whip of the House, Pat Ajudua.
