The president-general of the coalition, Goodluck Ibem, said this in a statement on Wednesday.
“It is not a law but a decree because it does not represent the interest of the people,” said the group.
The group said it was unfortunate that after 63 years of independence, Nigerians did not have belief and confidence in their own products.
“We don’t want to hear the stories of the COVID-19 era where palliatives were hoarded and not given to the right people,” said the Coalition of South-East Youth Leaders.
Mr Ibem urged the judges to uphold Nigeria’s constitution and deliver judgements that would not put the nation’s peace in jeopardy.
