Mr Ododo applauded the president for his efforts to rebound the nation’s oil refineries.
“The peaceful celebration of Christmas and New Year in Kogi is a result of such a huge investment in security,” the clerk said.
“Furthermore, the operation led to the apprehension of some of the kidnappers, while those still at large are being trailed,” the statement said.

On Wednesday, Isah Adagiri, Kogi Specialist Hospital’s chief medical director, lamented the shortage of doctors.
He urged the stakeholders to bring in their wealth of experience in actualising the 2024 budget as it would benefit the entire state.
In November, Mr Bello announced the release of N497.3 million to pay the fees for 15,033 students across the 21 local government areas.
