According to Mr Fintiri, the new directive, coinciding with the Ramadan fasting period, takes immediate effect.
Mr Eno said in his 2023 Christmas message to the Akwa Ibom people on Monday in Uyo that the season should bring people together as one.
However, the statement said the curfew would continue in Yola-North, Yola-South, Girei, and Numan from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily until further notice.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has relaxed the 24-hour curfew earlier imposed on the state by 12 hours.
The curfew followed wide-scale looting and attacks on citizens by hoodlums.
The Adamawa governor said that the inmates were pardoned because of their good conduct beginning from the day that they were convicted.
