Mr Ukandu said the victim was kidnapped on his way to church in the Ndufu-Alike community, Ikwo local government area (LGA) of Ebonyi.
Two men, Elechi Ezekiel, 23, and Okemiri Ebuka, 26, were arraigned Thursday before the Abakaliki Magistrates’ Court for stealing property worth N300,000.
He lauded President Bola Tinubu for granting the request to assist victims of the disaster in various constituents of the state.
The governor urged the abductors to release the children within seven days with a promise of amnesty.
