Nigeria and India have pledged to strengthen ties in the strategic areas of agriculture, renewable energy and defence.
He expressed delight at India’s fast development in education and healthcare sectors.
The Authority said that bicycle tracks were already captured in the master plan of Abuja city, adding that what was required was “to develop them.”
Mr Balasubramanian said that the direct flight will further strengthen economic, trade, bilateral relations, and people-to-people ties between both countries.
Shri Balasubramanian, Indian High Commissioner to Nigeria, on Wednesday said the country would offer 500 scholarships to Nigerians in 2023.
Over 135 Indian companies have invested $19 billion in Nigeria in the last four decades of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Mr. Thakur said the vaccines would be made available on concessional terms.
