Mr Ayatse urged relevant authorities and professional bodies to work together to rebuild extension services and strengthen veterinary infrastructure.
He said that following Mr Tinubu’s directive, the Chief of Defence Staff had ordered the deployment of more security personnel to Benue communities.
The governor lamented that the reign of terror had driven over 1.5 million persons from their ancestral homes and communities.
Mr Ayatse succeeded the deposed Emir of Kano, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
“While at the picnics, they drink to stupor and get themselves drowned in the river,” the ruler said.
