He said digital soil health cards would be distributed to farmers across the 774 local government areas using mobile technology.
He said about 1,500 kilometres of rural roads have been completed under the project.
Mr Abdullahi said the project represented another important milestone in the long-standing cooperation between Nigeria and the EU.
The minister also linked the price decline to the ongoing harvest season, which traditionally ushers in a period of food abundance.
“I can say it on good authority to you that the president has given a matching order with a federal executive council committee already handling it,” said the minister.
Mr Abdullahi said the Bola Tinubu-led administration is intentional about investing in Nigeria’s livestock sector.

Mr Abdullahi said that the farmers lost over 90 per cent of their total harvest for the season.
He said that the Senate, through legislation, would ensure adequate legal frameworks for commodity exchanges, warehouses and financing.
