The state commandant conducted the test at the command headquarters.
“The suspects include one from Cameroon, one from Niger, 12 from Sudan and six from Chad,” he said.
The commandant reassured residents of Kano State of the corps’ commitment to ensure the safety of lives and property.
The commandant expressed concern over rising cases of accidental and negligent destruction of underground fibre-optic cables across the state.
The deceased reportedly took ill on January 7 and was rushed to a hospital, where he died while receiving treatment.
