The state anti-graft commission, established in 2005, has received over 6,350 complaints and recovered over N235 million.
The PCACC chair explained that a former Deputy Sheriff and a court bailiff were also arrested in connection with the land scam.
The order comes after the police denied arresting Mr Rimingado, saying the force only invited him to address a petition against him.
The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal has set aside the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) order suspending Muhuyi Magaji, the chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission
“We will keep interrogating them and at the end, if found wanting, they will be prosecuted.”
The three-member tribunal, headed by Justice Danladi Umar, ordered Mr Magaji’s suspension on Thursday in Abuja following misconduct allegations.
Ms Kato said that Mr Magaji was arraigned before the tribunal.
