The Nigeria Customs Service (Federal Operations Unit Zone A) intercepted 6.35kg of cocaine valued at N2.35 billion along the Lagos-Abidjan corridor.
The Cross River command of the NDLEA on Sunday destroyed an eight-hectare cannabis farm in Uyanga community of Akamkpa LGA.
The agency said it secured 16 convictions within the period.
He was sentenced on a two-count charge of drug trafficking.

The Nigeria Customs Service says it has intercepted and seized 2,437 parcels of cannabis in Ogun, with a total duty-paid value of N131,598,000 from January to date.
