A community leader said the presence of the troops in the area has affected students’ sitting for WAEC and NECO examinations.
The examination took place in Nigeria, Benin Republic and Togo, and had a total of 71,738 pupils; 34,030 males and 37,708 females.
“The 2022 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) will commence on June 27 and end on August 12.”
The registration is for pupils who would not be less than 10 years of age by September 2022.
The money covered the debt for the 2019/2020 session and part payment for the 2021 NECO examination.
The examination is a gateway for the prisoners to get admitted into various degree programmes at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
Out of 1,233,631 candidates who registered, 1,226,631 actually sat for the examination, according to the examination council.
