“Since the Ghanaian border was closed for almost 18 months now, citizens of West African States have suffered so much in the hands of the Ghanaian immigration and police,” Mr Nnaji said.
The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) says for 61 years that Nigerian workers have been demanding better welfare package, the government has turned a deaf ear.
“Unsuspecting Nigerians come to Ghana and they become stranded. Government needs to take urgent measures.”
The traders have been having a bad brush with the Ghanaian authorities since 2017.
