NIHOTOUR was created by established laws to train, certify and register personnel working in Nigeria’s hospitality industry.
The minister said the ministry with the initiative was investing in the future of the youths and unlocking new opportunities for economic prosperity.
“The training and empowerment initiatives will be conducted in rural areas across Nigeria.’’
According to him, children will be trained on housekeeping, salad making, juicing, table manners, table setting, and presentation skills.
President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the ‘Establishment Bill’ of the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) into law.
