The PSC spokesperson said the physical and credential screening for applicants will commence on March 9, 2026.

The development followed Mr Hamzat’s engagement with the Lagos office of NIMC in Alausa, Ikeja, during a technical meeting on Wednesday.
Speaking at the launch in Lagos, Dangote said the plan will support 45,000 new students every year from 2026.

According to the NIMC, NIN enrolment was ongoing across all the centres in Nigeria.
Mr Adegoke stated that only ID cards officially issued by NIMC or authorised partners are legally valid.
He said operators will not process SIM swaps, replacements, new activations, or related services during this period.
The group stated, “We view the composition of the task force as a statement of intent.’’
