The Kogi State CP told the NLC that the command was aware of the nationwide protest scheduled for today.
The labour leaders in the state stated this on Tuesday after complying with the directive of its national leadership on the strike action.
“And I’m also happy to note that in Ondo State, NLC has not in any way officially communicated to us that they are on strike,” the HoS said.
“The HoS should not cause avoidable industrial unrest in Ondo State. We wish Mr Ogundele is called to order immediately,” he added.
On Wednesday, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress(TUC) in Kebbi staged a peaceful protest in Birnin Kebbi.
“The meeting sympathises with the workers and masses of our dear State and calls for calm and await further directives,” they added in the communique.
Mr Adigun said there had not been an increase in the number of recorded people infected with the virus nowadays because people were no longer coming out for tests.
The Zamfara government has approved the immediate implementation of the N30,000 minimum wage for the state’s civil servants.
The state governor was commended “for giving priority to prayers to complement the fight against insecurity in the state.”
