The governor said, as a citizen, the state had shaped his life for five decades.
Mr Adedapo lamented that several general hospitals across Oyo State were operating with only one or two doctors.
He said that the association had issued a 15-day ultimatum to the Oyo State government on Sept. 18.
The association also decried the sharp decline in resident doctors in the Ogbomosho-based teaching hospital.
“As a responsible association, we have engaged all organs of this current administration to right this wrong. However, this has proven difficult in the last one year.”
On Monday evening, dozens of people gathered at Takie Roundabout in Ogbomosho to pay their respects to the deceased.
The fake nurse was caught during a verification exercise by the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives.
