Mr Kalu said that a parliament that was accessible, transparent, and accountable was the cornerstone of a thriving democracy.
Mr Agba said that the application would enable Nigerians within the country and in the diaspora track execution of government projects.
“This will entrench the needed citizens’ participation in the governance process in the state,” added Mr Monguno.
According to the PERL coordinator, citizens and government need to work together towards sustaining the programme beyond its lifespan following the recorded gains.
The governor said he welcomed the strictest scrutiny from any Nigerian or group interested in the affairs of Sokoto state.
“Open Government Partnership allows citizens engagement in the budgetary process and to embrace inclusiveness in all its ramification.”
