Senator Orji Kalu has backed American President Donald Trump’s allegation that Christians in Nigeria are being targeted for massacre by “Jihadists”.
Mr Kalu hailed religious leaders for advocating peace and unity across the country.
The former Abia governor said only him – with 13,000 workers across the country – has the public service experience and capacity to rebuild Nigeria.
Mr Kalu hailed Mr Buhari’s timely intervention in resolving the intra-party differences ahead of the APC’s national convention.
The Nigerian senator has also declared his intention to run for president.
“State police is not an option. Find out the relationship between local government and the governors,” Mr Buhari said in an interview with Channels TV.
Though called a rubber stamp, the Nigerian Senate will not pick a fight with President Muhammadu Buhari, says Orji Kalu.
Mr Kalu extolled Mr Ibori on his 63rd birthday anniversary.
