The FAME Foundation, on Friday, organised its ninth annual football tournament in Abuja to mark the 2026 International Women’s Day celebration.
The National Sports Commission and the Kaduna government signed a memorandum of understanding for the transfer of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium to the latter for rehabilitation.
The committee was inaugurated on Tuesday at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja by the NSC chairman, Shehu Dikko.
“The players will start getting alerts, maybe today or tomorrow,” said Mr Dikko.
Mr Troost-Ekong said, “I have been sent the official certificate today following the announcement last night.”
While other players received MON, Ahmed Musa and Victor Osimhen were awarded OON honours, “on account of having MON earlier”.
