Market capitalisation gained N137 billion to close at N28.1 trillion as against the N27.963 trillion posted at the last trading session on Thursday.

The market capitalisation lost N50 billion to close at N22.081 trillion compared with N22.131 trillion achieved on Monday.
The market negative performance was driven by price depreciation in large and medium capitalised stocks.
The negative downturn was due to sell-off sentiments in majorly consumer goods and industrial sectors.
Market capitalisation inched lower by N2 billion or 0.01 per cent to close at N20.424 trillion from N20.426 trillion posted on Wednesday.
Market capitalisation, which opened at N20.450 trillion, lost N24 billion or 0.12 per cent to close at N20.426 trillion.
The market breadth closed negative with 23 laggards against 18 gainers.
Stock market gain was driven by price appreciation in large and medium capitalised stocks.
Julius Berger and Stanbic IBTC Holdings dominated the gainers’ chart in percentage terms.
