Mr Ajulo claimed that reports indicated that Mr Adeniran died under questionable circumstances.
Mr Iboroma said that the decision to set the record straight was to correct the wrong impression and negative propaganda deliberately being fed to unsuspecting members of the public.
Mr Ajulo stated, “The council’s deliberations were informed by insights from correctional authorities, legal experts, and distinguished community members.’’
The attorney general further disclosed that the Court of Appeal had scheduled the hearing of the motion on stay of execution for December 4.
He noted that releasing the report would have served the interests of justice for victims of police brutality in the state.
