The authority said that 23 other ships were expected to berth at the port between March 2 and March 15.
Another 21 ships are expected to arrive the Lagos Port from February 24 to March 5, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority.
The accident claimed the lives of a father, mother and their three children when their Toyota Sienna rammed into a parked truck.

The petroleum products were listed as petrol, jet fuel, automobile gasoline and base oil.
“Today is a black Thursday for us in Nko community. We have lost a son and a daughter in an accident that occurred this morning.”
Mr Lateef explained that an attempt made by the truck’s driver to avoid collision caused it to somersault, flinging away passengers on board.

A video on social showed people talking about the crash as some of them blamed the truck driver.
The truck was bearing sand to a construction site when the accident happened.
