The Kaduna command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested nine suspects for alleged possession of illicit drugs.
The NDLEA commander, Umar Adoro, told journalists on Monday in Kaduna that the operation was conducted in September.
“We will fight drug traffickers and consumers to a standstill in Kaduna state,’’ the NDLEA commander stated.
NDLEA commander in the state, Umar Adoro, told journalists on Saturday in Kaduna that the four suspects were arrested between July 15 and July 17.
“I have a poultry farm and was told that if I feed the chickens with Indian hemp seeds, they would grow fast and strong, and would not fall sick.”
NDLEA operatives seized the cocaine and arrested two suspects at Mando Motor Park in the state capital on Thursday.
The agency recovered two locally-made guns, seven cartridges, two pieces of ammunition and 100,000 counterfeit dollars during the March operations.
“This new Shisha-flavoured pen looked like a regular pen and it is rechargeable. So it would be difficult to identify it as Shisha.”
