Mr Bala-Tafida made the call during the formal inauguration of the new multibillion-naira state secretariat completed by the present administration in Birnin Kebbi.
The Kebbi government has postponed the 2026 Rigata Cultural Festival, which was earlier scheduled to begin on February 4.
Mr Bala-Tafida reaffirmed Mr Idris’ commitment to transparency, accountability, and due process.
Mr Bala-Tafida said the intervention aimed to improve power supply and alleviate the hardship being experienced by residents.
Mr Bala-Tafida said Governor Nasir Idris had constituted a task force to ensure the speedy resuscitation of the waterworks supplying Birnin Kebbi township.
Mr Bala-Tafida further reiterated the governor’s strong commitment to the sustenance of peace and unity.
Governor Nasir Idris has approved the appointment of 21 new secretaries for local government councils in Kebbi.
Mr Idris urged the contractors to ensure quality jobs that would stand the test of time.
The governor commended the corps for its contribution to securing lives and property of people in the state.
The election followed the appointment of Yusuf Tanko-Sununu as Minister of State, Education, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
