Mr Adebanjo died on Friday in his Lagos home at the age of 96.
The two dismissed chief executives are directed to hand over to the next most senior officer in their respective agencies.
The former Nigerian vice president has been a visible advocate for sustainable energy solutions.
He first contested for the presidency in 2019 on the platform of the Peoples Coalition Party (PCP).
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has accepted to lead the Commonwealth Observer Group to the Sierra Leone 2023 general elections.
The vice president said Mr Balogun was an outstanding legal mind and a doyen of the Nigerian capital market and investment banking.
He added that it would also expand Nigeria‘s free trade zone and facilitate her contribution to trade in Africa and the world.
“The applicants got the nod after meeting all the constitutional and administrative requirements for the grant of Nigerian citizenship.’’
Mr Osinbajo believes that “the political class and the nation’s leadership can do more in developing policies, laws and the enforcing them.
“He also planned legislative reform to make it mandatory for all public officers to declare their assets publicly.
