Dikko Radda, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina has appointed former Secretary to the State Government, Muhammad Inuwa, as the director-general of his campaign council.

Mr Radda stated this when he visited Mr Inuwa to solicit his support on Saturday in Katsina.

Mr Inuwa was also a gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of APC in the just concluded primary election held on Thursday.

Mr Radda polled 506 votes to defeat his closest opponent Mr Inuwa who polled 442 votes, and nine other aspirants.

He also sought the support of other contestants to take the party to victory in the 2023 gubernatorial election, saying “I alone cannot win the election without your support and cooperation.”

Mr Radda traced his political relationship with Inuwa to the time of former President Umar Musa Yar’adua.

He said the former SSG was one of the founding fathers of APC in the state since 2015, who worked and took the party to victory at different times.
