Danja ruler turbans 78, appoints 24 aides in Katsina

The district head of Danja local government of Katsina, Mohammed Tukur Bature, has appointed 78 titleholders and 24 palace aides.
Mr Bature disclosed this during his 30th coronation anniversary on Sunday in Danja.
He stated that the 78 were awarded traditional titles for contributing to the socio-economic development of the area and excelling in their personal endeavours.
“Among the 24 persons upgraded, but some freshly appointed as my aides, will work directly with me in my palace,” he said.
The traditional ruler thanked his subject for their support and cooperation.
“In all this period of my reign, I have never taken anyone to court and no one has ever taken me to court,” he said.
Mr Bature started his elementary school at Bokori from 1945 to 1948, after which he proceeded to Katsina Middle School from 1949 to 1952. Later, he went to St. Paul Kufena College, present Government College, Zaria.
He also attended Government College Keffi, Nasarawa, Kings College Lagos, where he completed his secondary education in 1960.
The district head of Danja, also the Sarkin Kudun Katsina, was admitted into the prestigious Inn of Court Law School, London, from 1961 to 1963, Holborn College of Law, London, from 1963 to 1966, where he graduated with LLB Hons. Law, before returning to Nigeria the same year.
