Biden can do ‘something spectacular’: Trump

United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday said President-elect Joe Biden has what it takes to achieve success in the coming years.
Mr. Trump made a live broadcast on Wednesday morning as he was about to depart Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C., for his retirement residence in Palm Beach, Florida.
Mr. Trump said his successor has a foundation to do “something spectacular. I wish the new administration good luck and great success.”
Mr. Trump said “we will be back in some form and again,” in an apparent reference to reports that he was floating a new political party to run again for office. “I want to thank the people of Washington, D.C., so have a good life, we will see you very soon.”
Mr. Trump ended his four year reign on a fraught note with the American public, after fighting for weeks to overturn his defeat at the November 3, 2020, presidential election. Mr. Biden will be sworn in as the 46th President of the United States at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
