Court to sentence lady for bathing neighbour with hot water

An Ojo Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Thursday fixed August 31, for sentencing of a 22-year-old woman, Endurance Sunday, who pleaded guilty to attacking her neighbour with hot water.
Magistrate L.J.K Layeni, fixed the date following a guilty plea entered by Ms Sunday for causing grievous bodily harm.
The prosecution counsel, Dr Simon Uche, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on June 2 at the Abule Ado area of Ojo Lagos.Ojo Lagos
He alleged that the defendant bathed the complainant, Roseline Silas, with hot water following an altercation.
Mr Uche told the court that the complainant sustained burns on her chest and other parts of her body.
He said that the offence contravened the provisions of Section 245 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.
The defendant however, pleaded not guilty of the charge before
