OsunDecides: Chris Brown celebrates Adeleke’s victory

American RnB superstar, Chris Brown, has celebrated Senator Ademola Adeleke following the latter’s victory at the just concluded Osun governorship election.
Electoral body INEC declared Mr Adeleke, an uncle to Chris Brown’s associate, David Adeleke aka Davido, winner of the Saturday polls on the platform of the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He defeated All Progressives Congress’ Gboyega Oyetola, the incumbent governor of Osun, a heartland state in southwestern Nigeria, polling 403,371 votes as against Mr Oyetola’s 375,027 tally.
Davido had been vociferous in his support for his uncle’s political pursuit, using his large social media support to rally support and call out opponents of Mr Adeleke’s run.

This might have informed Chris’ solidarity, as he posted the Osun governor-elect’s picture with emojis [“

”,] which may be interpreted to mean victory.
Chris has enjoyed fruitful collaborations with Davido and even recently featured the Nigerian star in a recent song titled “Nobody has to know”, off his recent “Breezy (Deluxe) album.
The “Blow My Mind” duo have both enjoyed successful working relationships and have constantly featured in each other’s albums, since 2019.
Here’s a list of their songs so far:
Blow My Mind – Davido ft Chris Brown (2019)
Lower Body – Chris Brown ft Davido (2019)
Shopping Spree – Davido ft Chris Brown, Young Thug (2020)
Nobody Has To Know – Chris Brown ft Davido – (2022).
