PSquare drops first EP after reconciliation

Nigerian music duo Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as PSquare, have officially released their first two-track EP after years of being apart.
The popular twin musicians split in 2017, following a series of family disagreements, and enjoyed a semi-successful solo music career while being separated.
Since their independent outing could not be compared to the success they enjoyed together, the singing twins reconciled in November 2021, ending their four-year long conflict.
Although fans were excited and expected a joint release almost immediately, it has taken the musicians eight months to release these two-track EPs titled “Jaiye”, with tracks such as ‘Find Somebody’, and ‘Jaiye’.
The release is coming after their last single “Nobody Ugly” in 2017. Prior to that time, they had “Bank Alert” in 2016, and the album before that, “Double Trouble” in 2014.
“It’s a JAIYE Weekend!… Put your hands up in the air! 4 OUT NOW! Link in my bio #LegendaryP @psquareworld” Peter announced via his Instagram page.
Paul also took to his Instagram page to announce “OUT NOW! link on my bio enjoy and share with your love ones #jaiye & #findsomebody”
The singing duo are also planning a “PSquare reunion world tour” that would cover one hundred cities in Africa, the UK, Canada and U.S.
Reacting to the news, excited fans took to social media to express their excitement of not just the new songs, but more of having the musicians back together.
“Psquare is actually in a class of their own. They are the only artists that have never released any bad song, as in from ‘senorita’ in 2000 to ‘Bank alert’ in 2016. Their album are comprises of hits. Never a bad song. @peterpsquare and @iamkingrudy…we commot cap for una. Weldon to yet another masterpiece,” Paschalrapito commented.
