NDLEA nabs suspects with 456kg illicit drugs in Kogi

Four suspects were arrested with 456.8 kilogrammes of illicit drugs over four days in Kogi, said NDLEA state commandant Abdulkadir Fakai.
Mr Family said that the seized drugs included cannabis sativa, codeine, and exol-5, all of which were seized between July 30th to August 3rd.
“20.6kg of exol-5, 229.8kg of Cannabis Sativa, and 190kg of codeine were all intercepted by the track intelligence officers and transported to our head office in Abuja,” said the commandant.
The suspects will be charged to court in accordance with relevant laws after investigations are concluded, the anti-narcotics boss said.
