Katsina: Useless voting APC, says Accord Party guber candidate

Muhammed Barau-Tanimu, Accord Party gubernatorial candidate in Katsina, says it is pointless to vote for the ruling APC and major opposition party, PDP, in the state in 2023.
He stressed that the Accord Party would provide the needed peace and good governance residents of Katsina need.
Mr Barau-Tanimu stated this during an interactive session with journalists on Saturday.
According to the governorship candidate, the leading political parties in Katsina failed the people and have nothing new to offer to protect residents from bandits’ incessant violent attacks.
He added, “It would be pointless for the people of Katsina desirous of development to vote for the leading political parties in the forthcoming 2023 elections,” Mr Barau-Tanimu declared. “I joined the race to rescue the state from its current multifaceted security and economic challenges and revamp the education sector for peace, learning and socio-economic prosperity.”
He further explained that Accord Party’s vision “is to transform the state par excellence in security, education and infrastructural development within the span of our stewardship as a servant leader.”
Mr Barau-Tanimu also stated that his mission would be to provide good governance, purposeful leadership, justice, and fairness if elected.
