Dikko, Akinwunmi, Falode, others cleared for NFF election

A list of cleared candidates was released by the NFF election screening committee.

The list of candidates cleared to contest for elective positions into the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been released today by the body’s election screening committee.

Vice-presidents of the Federation, Seyi Akinwunmi and Shehu Dikko, were cleared to contest for the position of president alongside Amanze Uchegbulam, Christian Emeruwa, Idah Peterside, and Ibrahim Gusau amongst others.

Ahmed Yusuf, popularly known as “Fresh”, was the only candidate cleared for the position of Chairman of Chairmen.

In contrast, 28 others, most notably Aisha Falode and Ayodeji Adegbenro, were cleared to contest for seats as executive members of the board.

Chairman of Enyimba Football Club, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, was cleared to contest for the post of First vice-president alongside Senator Obinna Ogba and Chinedu Okoye.
