President Museveni’s Son Muhoozi promoted to general after tweets about invading Kenya, Italy’s PM

Lieutenant General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, has been promoted to army general after he tweeted about invading Kenya.
In addition to his new position, Mr Kainerugaba will continue “with duties as senior presidential adviser for special operations,” according to a statement from the Ugandan defence spokesperson.
The promotion followed Mr Kainerugaba’s boast on Twitter about the military prowess of the Ugandan armed forces, in which he said he and the army could seize Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, in less than two weeks.
The comment drew the ire of several Kenyans and Ugandan opposition leaders.
“It wouldn’t take us, my army and me, 2 weeks to capture Nairobi,” Mr Kainerugaba bragged on Twitter. “Union is a MUST! No honourable men can allow these artificial, colonial borders anymore. If we our generation has men then these borders must fall!.”
Uganda’s ministry of foreign affairs distanced the nation from Mr Kainerugaba’s remarks, pledging “peaceful co-existence” with Kenya.
Mr Kainerugaba further asserted that he would give Giorgia Meloni, who is about to become Italy’s first female prime minister, 100 cows.
“I would give her 100 Nkore cows immediately! For being fearless and true!!,” tweeted the Ugandan president’s son.
