The Oyo State government has reconstituted the state’s Waste Management Task Force, amidst charge to members of the body to discharge their duties with absolute dedication to the state.
This is contained in a statement issued on Sunday in Ibadan by Moses Alao, Governor Seyi Makinde’s media aide.
According to Mr Alao, the Secretary to the State Government, Olubamiwo Adeosun, signed the letter authorising the reconstitution of the task force.
The reconstituted task force is to be chaired by the executive assistant to Mr Makinde on intervention, Aderonke Adedayo.
Other members of the new task force included the chairman of the defunct Waste Management Task Force, Francis Ojomo, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, and Ademola Aderinto, Special Assistant to the Governor on Environment.
Others are Ololade Ajibola, a Special Assistant on Special Duties and Ayoade Adekola, a board member of the Oyo State Housing Corporation.
Mr Alao said the task force’s assignment takes immediate effect.
He urged members of the newly reconstituted body to hit the ground running while describing the assignment as a great call to service.
