Rihanna is set to release her first track in six years on Friday.

The Fenty founder who recently welcomed a son with rapper ASAP Rocky in May, announced via her Twitter page on Wednesday.

The single titled “Lift Me Up”, will be one of the soundtracks for Marvel Studio’s Black Panther sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”.

Marvel Studios also tweeted a video of the movie’s logo, with the letter “R”, much like the one Rihanna also posted, moving out and glistening.

The single would be the billionaire’s first song since featuring in N.E.R.D’s “Lemon” song in 2017, her solo single “Love on the brain” in 2016 and her last album titled “Anti” in 2016.

This is coming after reports that the Barbadian singer will be headlining the coveted Super Bowl halftime show in February, much to the excitement and anticipation of fans who have diligently waited for a musical body of work from the artiste.

The singer who took a break from the music scene, took the beauty world by storm with her Fenty Beauty inclusive foundation that debuted with 40 shades, which then evolved into a more diverse makeup brand, her Savage X Fenty lingerie line and also skincare.

Rihanna was declared a billionaire by Forbes in August 2022, with an estimated net worth of $1.4 billion.
