2023: Guber candidate vows to build on El-Rufai’s programme in Kaduna

The All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Kaduna State, Uba Sani, has promised to build on the women empowerment programmes of Governor Nasir El-Rufai, if voted into office.
He made the pledge at an event organised by women on Sunday in Kaduna.
The APC governorship candidate noted that women constituted the majority in Mr El-Rufai’s cabinet and said he would improve the numbers.
“If voted into office as the governor of the state, my administration will give financial assistance to women who are engaged in businesses.
“Those who are not doing business will be given skill acquisition training, and start-up capital; suitably qualified women will be given appointments and employment in my administration,” he said.
Mr Sani also pledged to support orphans and vulnerable groups in the state.
The governorship hopeful, who pleaded for support, also pledged to campaign door-to-door and to all nooks and crannies of the state to canvass for votes.
He urged the people of Kaduna State to vote for Bola Tinubu for the presidency and himself in the governorship election.
