Davido makes first public appearance since son’s unfortunate demise

Davido has made his first public appearance since the unfortunate demise of his 3-year-old son Ifeanyi Adeleke, who drowned in the family house swimming pool last month after the toddler was reportedly left unguarded by the singer’s domestic workers.
Following the incident, Davido, born David Adeleke and his finance partner Chioma Rowland had remained out of the public spotlight and off social media except the deletion of a concert promotional post on his Instagram that he was scheduled to headline this month but now postponed till next year.
However, the multiple awards winning musician, who turned 30 last week, has now made his first public appearance after almost one month in hibernation, mourning the sudden death of his beloved son.
According to photos circulating on the internet, Davido was pictured in his home-state of Osun, apparently to attend the inauguration ceremony of his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who will be sworn in as the new governor of the state on Sunday.
From an influential family with strong political background, Davido campaigned hard for his uncle in the run up to July 16 gubernatorial election leading to the defeat of incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola at the polls.
Senator Adeleke begins his four year term even as Mr Oyetola is trying to upturn his electoral victory at the election tribunal.
